Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors Dreams is a surprisingly faithful portable conversion of the arcade fighting game, noted for its smooth animation and inclusion of many core features despite the hardware limitations. 

• Roster: The game includes all thirteen characters from the arcade version (with three initially unlockable via codes), such as Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Adon, Rose, and Birdie.
• Controls: Given the GBC's two-button setup, controls were adapted using pressure sensitivity. A light tap registers a weak attack, while a stronger press performs a fierce attack. Motion inputs for special moves and super combos are also possible and notably forgiving.
• Modes: It features an Arcade mode for single-player progression and a Training mode to practice moves. Unlike console versions, it is a single-player only experience, with no link cable support for multiplayer.
• Graphics & Sound: The game features colorful, detailed character sprites and fluid animations, a significant improvement over the Street Fighter II port for the original Game Boy. Sound effects are basic 8-bit, and there are no character voice samples during fights, but the character themes are present.
• Gameplay Mechanics: Core mechanics like super combos, alpha counters, and chain attacks are present. The game also includes secret rival encounters and different character endings, adding to the replay value
