• The length of an Australian stock whip is measured by the length of the thong. For instance, a whip marketed as 4 feet long would have a 4 feet long thong. The measurement does not include the length of the handle, stock, fall and cracker.

Style of Inside Construction of whip:  

             Stockwhip starts with a Cane Rod for the handle that provides both a solid foundation and flexibility to balance the thong while a core is the innermost layer inside the thong of the whip. Then consists of two leather braided bellies of 4 strands each and two leather bolsters. The overlay is done in 16 plaits.
