Flex Profile & Feel

• Handle (butt) section: firm to stiff — provides stability and control through the swing.

• Mid-section: medium to medium-firm — balances smooth loading with control.

• Tip section: firm — helps reduce unwanted torque at impact, delivering a stable, controlled strike.

This profile delivers a controlled, stable feel, with less “whip” than lightweight shafts. It emphasizes precision and repeatability over maximum tip kick or snap.

Performance: Launch, Spin, Flight

• Launch: Mid to mid-high — the shaft is designed to help get the ball airborne while still maintaining control.

• Spin: Typically low — this helps produce a more penetrating, controlled ball flight, which is often desirable for players who want distance and tight dispersion rather than a high, floating shot.

• Trajectory & Flight: The combination of mid-high launch and low spin tends to yield a penetrating, controlled ball flight with good carry and roll potential, especially in normal to windy conditions.

The Tour AD VR series offers a broad range of weight and flex options to match different swing speeds and preferences:

• Weight classes: from ~40 g up to ~80–85 g

• Flexes available: R2, R1 (light/regular), S (stiff), and X (extra-stiff) depending on weight class

Tip diameter is typically standard (.335″), making it compatible with most modern driver or fairway wood heads.

What “DEMO SHAFT” Means

A “demo shaft” typically comes from club-fitting sessions: it may have been installed and removed, but hasn’t necessarily been used extensively on-course. The construction, materials, and performance characteristics are identical to a brand-new retail shaft. The main difference is cosmetic — small handling marks or light wear — and the lower price, often making it a cost-effective way to get a high-end shaft.
