Rent the Look Makerry Bridal Rental Agreement

Effective date: September 15, 2026

This agreement applies only to eligible Makerry Bridal gowns rented through Ethereal Legacy Boutiques (“ELB”). By selecting Rent the Look and completing checkout, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. Rental order

The order confirmation identifies the gown, standard size, rental price, event date, required return date, and round-trip shipping charge. A rental transfers temporary possession only; ELB retains ownership.

2. Standard sizing only

Rentals are available only in listed standard sizes. Custom sizing and permanent alterations are not permitted. A custom-sized gown is a retail purchase at the listed retail price and is kept by the customer.

3. Shipping and return

One shipping charge covers delivery to the customer and a prepaid, tracked return label. The customer must follow ELB’s packing instructions and obtain a carrier acceptance scan by the required return date. The customer remains responsible for the gown until the carrier records acceptance using the supplied label.

4. Cleaning and normal wear

Standard post-rental cleaning is included. The customer should not dry-clean, wash, spot-treat, iron, steam, dye, or otherwise treat the gown unless ELB gives written instructions. Ordinary removable soil handled through standard cleaning is included.

5. Prohibited changes and permanent damage

Permanent alterations are prohibited. Chargeable damage includes burns, tears, permanent stains, cut fabric, adhesive or dye damage, missing or damaged components, unauthorized alterations, intentional damage, loss, theft, or a condition that makes the gown unsafe or unsuitable for future rental.

6. Damage loss and non-return

If the gown is permanently damaged, lost, stolen, or not returned, the full ELB retail price applies. The rental payment already paid will be credited toward that total. Shipping, expedited services, and other separately stated charges are not credited. ELB will document the condition and provide written notice and an invoice for any remaining balance.

7. Late return

The gown must be tendered to the designated carrier by the return date shown with the order. A delay may affect another customer. ELB may seek its documented losses or treat the gown as non-returned after written notice and a reasonable opportunity to provide proof of shipment.

8. Fit and use

The customer is responsible for selecting the standard size. ELB does not guarantee fit based solely on a usual clothing size. The gown may be used only for the stated event and may not be loaned, transferred, resold, or used in a manner likely to cause damage.

9. Inspection

ELB may document the gown before shipment and after return. The customer should notify ELB promptly of any problem upon delivery and keep all packaging and photographs relevant to a shipping claim.

10. Acceptance

Electronic acceptance at checkout and the related order record form the agreement between the customer and ELB. The customer confirms that the order information, event date, delivery address, standard size, and return date are accurate.

Checkout consent: I have read and agree to the Rent the Look Makerry Bridal Rental Agreement, including the return deadline, standard-sizing restriction, care rules, and responsibility for permanent damage, loss, or non-return. I understand that any rental payment already made will be credited toward the full ELB retail price if those provisions apply.
